When You're Not Looking

So, where have I been for the last month? For once, this absence isn't from a sheer lack of anything to write. I've actually had a fun and busy last month. I had a decent 21st birthday...I remained sober. I did have a margarita with my lunch, though.

"Carver's girl", Erin, turned out to be awesome. I've never made that fast of a friendship. Well, I have, but it is hard to explain. The only thing I have to compare it to would be the friendships I made at summer camp as a kid. I hope we actually keep in touch. I don't know, it was just great to have a real friend down here. Even if for only a month. Anyway, Erin left for Coast Guard boot camp on Monday. So it is going to go back to dullsville around here.

I've become a Kinston Indians fan. I never thought I'd get into baseball, but we've been 3 weekends in row. We'll prolly go this weekend, cuz we have free box seats with our friends Trey-bo and Amanda, the couple that live 2 floors above us.

We've been to the beach the last couple of weekends, too. I love going to beach. I mean, really, who doesn't? Last weekend, Josh dug himself a chair in the sand. And then we buried him in it. I know its a touristy thing to do. Anyway, I'd like to try to surf, but the waves aren't happening. Its prolly for the best. I'm the least coordinated person I know.

Here's a question for y'all: I know we have muddin' in Illinois. But do we have mudbogs? Anyway, I also went to a mudbog and to a couple of drag races in the last month.

Anyway, I need to find a second job. Poo!

Hey! If you want to send me a late bday present, I need Kodak Easyshare Digital Printer Picture Paper. I have a crapload of pictures I want to print out.
