A toad visited in my doorstep last night.

Is that some kind of bad omen?

Anyway, I think he wanted to come in from the rain, but was just too shy to ask.

I'm eating strawberries and bananas just like we did in champaign. a year from then, and now i see that i wasn't all that lonely and that it was beautiful.

you shouldn't wish your life away...

Arby's offered me more money, so i decided to stay. nothing too exciting there. We just fired a couple of the employees that drove me up a wall and hired some potentially good new people.

I've missed home lately. well, not home, the house that was my home. When you live in house your whole life, it becomes more than a domicile. Its family. Its your aunts unmistakable laugh, your uncle's collection of doodles on napkins, and your mother's embrace. I know where the floor creaks in the kitchen, the floorboards that come up in the room where she died, and where my great-great-great grandfather's name is on the staircase banister. That house is my history. I've always felt so grounded and centered there.

random to-do: i need to buy lightbulbs
random lyric: i have two roads to walk down and one road to choose, thinking over...
random movie quote: living life in every breath, in every life we take
random memory: my cousin and i used to pretend to smoke uncooked spaghetti.
